This project was commissioned to create a new ‘state of the art’ multi use school hall for the highly regarded Cornerstone Academy Trust at their Broadclyst Community Primary School in Exeter.

The facility provides an event venue with dining and sports facilities including a climbing wall and a ground-breaking IT and AV installation to host events in a fully comfort cooled environment. The environment creates a high quality finish enhanced with a handsome engineered oak floor.

The school is situated in a conservation area and the design has been sensitively detailed to meet strict planning criteria with a tern coated steel roof covering, external wall treatments to include feature larch timber cladding and hand made facing brickwork to compliment the stonework of the existing buildings.

The project was Nominated for the Michelmores Education Project of the Year award.
