Ravenslade assembled a multi-disciplinary team including ADG Architects, Oatway Design [MEP] and Airey & Coles to design and manage the £415k contract to re-model and refurbish the existing Union Street building for City College Plymouth.

City College Plymouth launched their new city centre venue, Pinpoint, in October 2021 in support of the city, its people and local employers, in line with its vision and purpose to become the learning destination of choice.

Pinpoint will provide guidance on skills needs, identify employee and employer training funding, and showcase the new and exciting changes within the skills arena.

The comprehensive refurbishment programme over the three-storey terrace property includes a new mechanical ventilation and heat recovery system, new energy-efficient lighting and an impressive reception area with funky furnishings to the break-out facilities on the ground floor that would greet visitors and students.

The project was challenging and was managed at fast pace being commissioned at the start of 2021 with tight timelines to meet operational and funding deadlines.
